Welcome to this week's newsletter!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Long Weekend break! Coming back from a holiday and back into training can always be a bit harder, we want to remind you of the balance of training, rest and the importance of cross-training to avoid injury. Whilst we are all about improving our running abilities and pushing to reach our goals, it is important to support this running training with strength and other movements to avoid over-training injuries. Activities including cycling, swimming, walking can all still be used to add up mileage, whilst not putting the same strain on your body time and time again.

Incorporating a stretching routine into your training schedule is also vital to keep you performing at your best. So be sure to check out all our training offerings to help mix up your routine and be able to train for longevity in mind. And if you are ever in doubt of your routine, or if you feel you are over-training - drop us a message and we can provide advice on what the best way to structure your routine should be!

LIVE RUN CLUBS

COMING SOON... TUESDAY and THURSDAY - STRENGTH CLASSES AT SOLO60

IGNITE
This is a metcon class (metabolic conditioning) Expect a mixture of strength & cardio conditioning. You will work both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems in this 60 minute class. Max number of participants is 6 so there is a huge focus on technique and execution of each drill.

RESILIENCE
A pure strength focused class. We will focus on 1-2 major lifts focusing on form, then progressing over a number of weeks using different modalities. Using a RAMP warm up suitable for you and your body to eliminate any injury, then one-three strength exercises depending on the focus, followed by accessory exercises relevant to the session, finally finishing with either a flow to lengthen and stretch or a midline (core) finisher.

FRIDAY - LUNCHTIME CLASS at ONELDN with SALLY

This is our new treadmill class based at ONELDN club in Fulham with Tee and Sally. In this class you can expect running, AMRAPs, and a little surprise threw in every now and again to set you apart. We are really passionate and so excited to be bringing our audio runs to life, and introducing our signature strength training alongside it is the perfect pairing.

We want to be able to train for longevity and progression, and see where we can take our bodies with a little extra push. Sally and Tee will be supporting you the whole way and pushing you to meet your true potential.

This class will be every Friday 12:45pm at OneLDN - bookings via our website! We would love to see as many of your faces there as possible.

SUNDAY - ENDURANCE RUN with ERICA

Training for a marathon or half marathon this year? Look no further than a run with the endurance queen herself!

Erica has designed a long-distance route through London starting at 10:30 am every second Sunday from Bishopsgate Entrance of Liverpool Street station and slowly making our way West to finish at Hyde Park. This run is meant to be set at a cruisey pace and is meant to be a challenge for how you handle longer distances. You will be able to run at your own pace - beginner, intermediate, advanced - all runners are welcome!
